Return & Refund Policy
Our policy on returns, refunds, and replacements.
Important Note
Due to the perishable nature of grocery items, our return policy differs from standard retail policies. Please read this policy carefully.
1. Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns or replacements only under the following circumstances:
- Damaged or defective products received
- Wrong items delivered (different from what was ordered)
- Expired products delivered
- Significant quality issues with perishable items
Note: We do not accept returns for change of mind or incorrect orders placed by the customer.
2. Return Process
To initiate a return or replacement:
- Report the issue: Contact us within 24 hours of delivery at support@bengalmart.in or through our app/website.
- Provide details: Include your order number, product details, and clear photos of the issue.
- Our response: We will review your request and respond within 24-48 hours.
- Resolution: Depending on the issue, we may offer:
- Replacement of the item
- Store credit for future purchases
- Refund to your original payment method
3. Refund Methods
Refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible. Processing times vary:

4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless they are defective or incorrect:
- Fresh fruits and vegetables
- Dairy products
- Meat and poultry
- Bakery items
- Opened or used products
- Products without original packaging
- Items purchased on sale/discount
- Gift cards
5. Delivery Issues
If you experience issues with your delivery:
- Late Delivery: While we strive for on-time delivery, we cannot guarantee delivery times due to factors beyond our control (traffic, weather, etc.).
- Missing Items: Report missing items within 2 hours of delivery. We may offer a refund or replacement.
- Failed Delivery: If delivery fails due to incorrect address or recipient unavailability, a redelivery fee may apply.
6. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your order:
- Before processing: Full refund if cancelled before we begin processing your order (usually within 1 hour of placement).
- After processing: Partial refund may be available depending on order status.
- During delivery: No cancellations possible once the order is out for delivery.
